Amy Echols
Amy Echols (2005 Graduate) has played lead rolls with the BBT®. Most recently as the Fairy God Mother in the 2004 Production of Cinderella. Amy is continuing her dance career at the University of Iowa pursuing Dance and Business Degree. She is busy dancing 20+ hours a week in classes taught by six different instructors with impressive experience to share. She is in an advanced level of dance instruction and has been complimented on her training from the BBT®. Amy will be performing in a trio this spring in U of Iowa's Spring Stage Production. For Amy, dance is a continuous learning process. Amy graduated with honors in May 2010.
Abby Ellison
Abby Ellison started her training in dance at the Summers Academy when she was 7 years old. A year later she joined the company  and has continued dancing ever since. She has been in the BBT for 5 years. She has performed in numerous ballets such as Cinderella, Coppelia, Giselle, The Sleeping Beauty and the Nutcracker. Abby earned her first lead role when she was 16 as Swanhilda in Coppelia and the next two years as Dream Clara in the Nutcracker. After graduation, Abby served as the assistant to the director under Jennifer Epley-Echols for the BBT's 2009 Nutcracker. She was priveleged to earn a scholarship for a summer intensive program with Thodos Dance Company. Abby will be attending Webster University majoring in dance. She hopes to continue her passion and love for dance by joining a modern/jazz company. She would like to thank her mother for always telling her to follow her intuition and supporting her, Jennifer Epley-Echols for instilling her own passion in dance in Abby, Victoria Summers for making it all possible, and her father for being her inspiration throughout her dance career.
Jenny Jakymiw
Jenny Jakymiw graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Dance Performance in 2010. While she was at ISU she was a part of Illinois State Dance Theatre and Noir Dance Troupe. While she attended ISU she performed in Dance Chicago, American College Dance Festival, ISDT Spring and Fall Shows, ISDT student choreography concerts, Greek Scene, and March Madness.

Jenny began her training at the Summers Academy of dance in Crystal Lake, Il, where she was a part of Berkshire Ballet Theatre for 13 years and trained in various styles such as ballet, jazz, pointe, modern, lyrical, and character. She performed lead roles as Princess Aurora in the 2006 production of The Sleeping Beauty, the Spring Fairy in the 2005 production of Cinderella, and a numerous other amazing roles.
Caitlin Perna
Caitlin Perna has performed with the BBT for 5 years in such roles as a Wili in Giselle, the Summer Fairy in Cinderella, and the Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty. She is now attending Western Michigan University to pursue her Bachelor in Fine Arts degree. At school Caitlin performed in the student run Orchesis show and also for one of the graduating B.F.A’s pieces. She is hoping to audition for some of the many companies and job opportunities brought to Western and perform as much as she can!
